course structure
9 – 10.30am | Practical class with some anatomy and philosophy weaved through |
10.30 – 10.45am | Break |
10.45 – 11.45am | Introduction to the history and philosophy of yoga and the different lineages |
11.45am – 12.45pm | Experiential philosophy: putting the theory into practice! Simple breath, pranayama and meditation practices to enhance your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being… and why! |
12.45 – 2pm | Lunch together |
2 – 3pm | Introduction to the foundation of movement: posture, stability, alignment, release & breath. Clare will offer individual feedback from anything she observed during the class in the morning that she feels may enhance your personal practice. |
3 – 3.15pm | Break |
3.15 – 3.45pm | Ask me anything. Any questions at all. Whether it be to help you with any movement limitations you may have, any health conditions, anything philosophy or anatomy related or anything that may motivate or encourage you within your practice. |
3.45 – 4.20pm | Somatic / embodied yoga class |
4.20 – 4.30pm | Final thoughts and close. |
Certification & Accreditation
All attendees will receive a certificate of attendance – Please note this is not a yoga teacher training qualification course.

Clare Francis, founder of Harmonise Training Academy, has been passionately teaching movement classes for 25 years and has trained hundreds of aspiring yoga and pilates teachers over the past 8 years. She is a registered E-500 yoga teacher and CEP provider withthe Yoga Alliance. You can read more about her teaching and practice journey here.
