observing posture & hands-on assists for yoga teachers

Tuesday 8th October 2024, 2pm-5pm

YOGA CPD

This immersive session is tailored to elevate your skills, boost confidence, and deepen your connection with your students.

Delve into the nuances and the art of mindful touch, hone your observational abilities, and understand the ethical considerations surrounding hands-on assists. Frequently my students express their gratitude for the hands-on assists I provide, with many mentioning that this is their first experience of being offered this personalised approach in a class. Acknowledging the impact of genuine connection, we will explore how to create a more holistic and personalised experience for your students and cultivate a teaching style that resonates deeply.

We will cover:

– Learn how to incorporate this knowledge when using touch in assisting yoga postures.
– Explore the relationship between the nervous system and hands-on assists. Where is your gauge set?
